Sunflowers, lawn games and a packed barn dancefloor
Rob & Grace wanted a wedding that felt relaxed from start to finish — no strict schedule, no fuss, just a proper good day with their favourite people.
Acorn Barn suited them perfectly. It’s just outside Stadhampton and gives you loads of freedom to do things your own way (and yes, no corkage definitely helps). Their ceremony was outside in the gardens, which are beautifully laid out — it used to be a show garden, so there are loads of natural backdrops without it feeling overly manicured.
After the ceremony we wandered across to a sunflower field that was in full bloom. Nothing staged, nothing complicated — just ten quiet minutes together while everyone else grabbed a drink.
The rest of the day unfolded exactly how they’d hoped: lawn games, long chats, good food and a barn that filled up quickly once the music started.
