Personal vows, terrace drinks and a proper unhurried evening
Danesfield House has a way of making things feel special without trying too hard.
Kate & Mike kept their guest list smaller, which meant the whole day felt close and relaxed. Their ceremony took place in one of the light-filled rooms overlooking the gardens and river — calm, simple, and very emotional once they started reading their own vows.
Afterwards everyone drifted out onto the terrace with drinks while we made the most of the grounds for a few quiet portraits.
The reception moved into the grand hall for dinner and speeches, and because so many guests were staying over, the evening didn’t feel rushed at all. It just flowed.
